2011 Event Raised $10,000
for the Pa Breast Cancer Coalition!
Since 2001, "Play it Again"
for Charity has donated over $62,900 to Non-Profit Organizations
and is the longest running NHL / AHL Alumni Charity Hockey Organization in Central Pennsylvania. We are a small
organization with a staff of two -- but together with our friends and partners -- produce big results! In nine years we have hosted games with NHL / AHL Alumni who have won Stanley and Calder Cups! In 2005 -- our organization made hockey history when SIX -Time Stanley Cup Champion Bryan Trottier played in our event at the HERSHEYPARKARENA -- marking the first time "Trotts" skated in Hershey! From 2006 to 2012 we entertained fans -- and -- ourselves' with the infamous Hanson Brothers from the 1977 movie Slap Shot! On Saturday April 28, 2012 the Hanson Brothers return to Klick Lewis Arena in Annville, Pa (outside of Palmyra) for the "2012 After-Winter Classic, 24/7 for Breast Cancer." The event will feature the original Hanson Brothers from the movie Slap Shot, playing in an exhibition game, then greet fans after the game. The event will also feature a well known Philadelphia Flyer Alumni great. Check back after the Super Bowl for the official event press release!
