The movie Slap Shot 3, the Junior League told the story of the Hanson Brothers from the original Slap Shot --returning to a small town to start a new life after hockey. On May 2,  area hockey players and fans relived scenes from both movies -- when the original Hanson Brothers from Slap Shot stopped by the Klick Lewis Arena to play a benefit ice hockey game and introduce some kids to old time hockey! 

According to Rob Ziemba, Palmyra resident and Founder of “Play It Again” for Charity; “this year's event was very special because Jon and I brought the Hanson Brothers to Lebanon County and that's a funny story in itself. We attracted a whole new crowd of about four-hundred and fifty and the response was overwhelming. The skits were funny and included goalie penalty shots, the Hansons beating up players and refs, (for fun) and even featured two officers from the South Londonderry Police Department arriving at the end of the second period to escort the Hanson's off the ice---after telling our Emcee, "we're here for the Hansons! This year, we skated our kids against the Hanson's at the end of the first intermission which was a HUGE success. It was great to see my son and his friends, play against three of the most famous hockey faces in the world."
