On May 3rd "Play it Again" for Charity welcomes Kiersten Mathieu of Fox 43!
Kiersten Mathieu FOX43 Morning News anchor Kiersten Mathieu began working for FOX43 News in June 2007.
She is thrilled to be back working
in her home state of Pennsylvania! Kiersten grew up in West Brandywine Township, Chester County.
Before arriving at
FOX43, she reported and anchored for two years at WBNG-TV, the CBS affiliate in Binghamton, New York.
Kiersten's first
job in journalism was reporting for 1420 WCOJ Radio in West Chester, Pennsylvania. At the age of 15, Kiersten's parents had
to drive her to the first few radio assignments.
After high school, she graduated from Saint Joseph's University in
Philadelphia with an English degree. During college, Kiersten interned with WCAU NBC10 in Philadelphia. She was later hired
as a researcher for the NBC10 Consumer Alert Team.
Kiersten is also an award winning reporter. In June 2007, Kiersten
won a New York State Associated Press First Place Award for Best Feature.
When she's not covering the news, Kiersten
loves to relax with family, friends, her orange cat Caliente, visit the beach and solve crossword puzzles.
