In 2004, Rob was presented the Philadelphia
Flyers 7th Man (Fan of the Year) Award
for his dedication to Hockey and Charity by Flyers great's Bobby Clarke & Bob Kelly.
"On the ice at area rinks, Rob is known for making bad passes, blowing
scoring chances -- and
has an "uncommon-- upright" skating style"
Off the ice Rob is V.P. Of Sales and Marketing
for - The Martel Group - in
Elizabethtown and lists golf, family time and recreation-ice hockey as hobbies.
Rob's favorite hockey moment of all time was "being at the Spectrum in 1987 when
Flyer's Goalie Ron Hextall scored his 1st goal,"
When not raising
money for charity or watching Slap Shot, he enjoys being the
Director of the Hershey Jr. Bear
"Bites" Program (4-6 year olds) and operating Z-Max
Sports Apparel! (www.zmaxsports.com)
He also enjoys watching his son Kyle play "Squirts"
Ice Hockey and
his daughter Kennedy play basketball and softball!
In 2004, Jon Jehrio (aka; JJ, The Juice) joined "Play it Again" for Charity
as Chairman
and became the "second guy." Jon's
in-depth hockey knowledge, strong personality and experience in the entertainment/hospitality industry adds to our success!
Jon enjoys working with sponsors and manages team operations. It was Jon who
developed our relationship
with the Buffalo
Sabres Alumni which helped land
the Hanson Brothers. Jon has played in SIX Buffalo Sabre Alumni Events and
SIX "Play it Again" for Charity Events!
Off the ice Jon works in the
Harrisburg area and enjoys visiting
the
NHL Hockey Hall of Fame, playing hockey in local leagues, and
traveling to
different hockey cities to see games
and collect autographs.
Jon and wife Mary live in the Hershey area.
Steve was invited to
join “Play it Again” for Charity in 2009 as a volunteer
and player in
the “Paint the Rink Pink” Hockey Event -- after showing Rob and
Jon how to improve
their golf game. After an intense interview in early 2010
while eating hot wings -- Steve was appointed
as the Director of Special/Golf Events
and assigned to Chair the "Paint the Links Pink Celebrity Golf Outing"
featuring the
original Hanson Brothers -- from the 1977 hit movie Slap Shot.
Coaching is Steve’s favorite
past time and has coached co-ed kids for the
past 6 years in T-ball, baseball, softball, soccer, hockey and in 2011
-- lacrosse.
Steve is currently the Head Coach of a Hershey
Jr Bears
- Squirt Level Hockey Team. He is also an
Assistant coach with the Lower Dauphin Lacrosse Club. (2-4 grade)
Besides Golf and Hockey Steve also Volunteers his time as VP of the
Conewago Elementary PTO and is a
Member of the Board of
Directors for Central PA’s Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Steve works in
Mechanicsburg and
is the Director of Sales for
Black Consulting Services, Inc.
Steve and his wife reside in Hershey
with their two children.
